Visit by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia-Center for Entrepreneurship and SMEs Development (UKM-CESMED)
On October 5, 2012 Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a delegation visit
by UKM-CESMED. The delegation was welcomed by Rector of MEDIU, Prof. Dr. Mohammad
Khalifa Al-Tamimi at his office and the visit was led by UKM-CESMED’s Director, Prof. Dr
. Mohd. Fauzi bin Mohd Jani (PPT, DNS) and he is accompanied by Associate Fellow of
UKM-CESMED, Associate Professor Mohammad Shanudin bin Zakaria, and a staff, Mrs. Wan
Izmawati binti Wan Hashim.
During the visit, the delegation went for a short briefing particularly on the online learning
system which is currently used in MEDIU and they have been exposed to Advanced Learning
I-Management System (ALIM), Library, and Customer Management System (CMS).
Upon the meeting, the Director of UKM-CESMED has expressed his reverence towards the
achievement and facilities owned by MEDIU and he also has shown his interests in looking
forward for collaboration with MEDIU in future especially in online learning system. MEDIU’s
Rector was glad and expressed his happiness to open the horizons of collaboration between
the two universities.
At the end of the event, a token of appreciation has been given to the delegation and they
have been brought for a mini tour at MEDIU.
