The increasing rate of MEDIU’s browsing through the University Website and Google

With the grace of Allah The Al-Mighty, and the cooperation from all the staff; MEDIU 

have achieved a success in disseminating information related to the University through its 

website (http://www.mediu.edu.my/mal).

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) official site has added a new track record by

 increasing number of visitors; which reached nearly 1,005,000 million visitors to date.

In addition, the presence of the University web site at Google sites has increased to reach 

more than million pages. This shows the importance of the commitment of its staff to 

support the educational process and disseminate information. In addition, the number of 

MEDIU website on shared on Google Plus(G+) has reached more than 6,000; its clearly 

shown that the tremendous effort comes in support from various social media network. 

This achievement reflects the impact of the use of technology and social media network to 

improve relationships with the students and the educational community.

It is noted that MEDIU has earn its 3rd rank in the private universities categories in 

Malaysia and 14thplace for overall university in Malaysia; according to the Australian 

Classification University and the International Institute (4ICUs) for the year 2013. And 

according to the National Center for Research Universal (WIPO Matrix) for the first half of 

2013; MEDIU has earned its 3rd place for Malaysian private universities category and 18th 

place for the universities in Malaysia in general. The University’s also ranks 90th in the 

East Asian region; ranked 609th among universities in the Asian region, and managed to 

get the 17th position for the Arabic and Islamic universities category and ranked 

2,116th for worldwide universities.
